Caring for your home water distiller

The most important requirement is to keep your distiller clean. After about 3 or 4 uses of the countertop unit you will notice a limescale build up. This can be difficult to remove. To use the Still Cleaner I fill the distiller with water and add a table spoon of Still Clean. I use a wooden spoon so as not to scratch the inside of the unit and mix the descaler until completely dissolved. I then leave to sit for approximately 2 to 3 hours. After that time tip the water down the sink and wipe the bottom clean.

To clean the limescale without the descaler is very difficult without damaging the distiller.
